  How many Remnant are left? Anyone know?

  i was just reading something and got to wondering..does anyone know how many of the remnant are left?

  isn't "the end" supposed to come when they are all gone?.

  and how can they be leading the faithful and discreet slave if they live in our area?

  I believe they were supposed to be at the age of reasoning also..so I guess that would be at a minimun..16 years?

  Weren't they originally picked In 1914?

  So they would have had to at least be born in 1898..which would make them AT LEAST 107 now?

  So ALL the remnant they have now would have to be "Replacements"?

  Am I thinking right?

  How dumb can we get.....

  Or rather..how dumb do they think we are?

  Thanks so much for the figures!..I did find the stats for 2004 but I didn't have any others..

  Need help on blood issue...

  we are going through some things i don't want to discuss on the open board but i need some help.

  where is the site that talks about the blood issue in depth?.

  i would really appriciate any help i can get.

  Has he had a cat scan or any other X rays on the rest of his body?

  New stats...JW's...

  i clicked on the site showing the 2005 conventions someone posted and saw a lot of goodies... i found some more recent statistics of the jw's.

  it shows how many attended the memorial..and says 8570 partook in 2004. it seemed like a few years ago it was around 10,000.. it's on the left side under topics..last one is statistics..the other links are informative also..you can break them down by country... .

  Read this on another board!..No longer D.A or D.F. ?

  they claim that the jw's... as of the new organization book ...no longer announce someone is disfellowshipped or disassociated.. .

  but rather they announce " they are no longer a jehovah's witness.

  anyone that can shed light on if this is true or not?

  They will also announce something if someone was studying and attending meetings and going in service and decides they no longer are interested!

  They even announce that!..

  They say: So and So is no longer recognized as an unbaptized publisher...

  Have they always done that?

  Well..I know when to stay away from my daughters in St Charles..

  They'll probably be blocking the highway trying to get there!

  Good spot though..Two casino's within 5 and 10 minutes from that site!..

  Lot's of hotels..right next to the casino's... Ka-Ching

  There is even one right up the street from me!..At the assembly hall. Only thing is it is in Korean only..Hummm no Korean's around here..

  Only one OK motel within miles..hope they all fit!..

  I'll rent them a room..only $500. a night.. Hey..I'm less than 5 min. from the place!

  Can you believe Miss Canada is 5'11....She's a big-un!

  Born is Russia..

  My daughter was Mrs. Illinois in the 80's..and she called me and said "Miss Cananda is georgeous!"

  And sure enough..she won!

  Personally..I think the winner and the runner up look an awful lot alike..

  ARE JW SISTERS ALLOWED TO CARRY COFFINS?

  recently i was amazed to read in another thread that jw females are not even allowed to walk up and down the aisles counting those in attendance.

  the poster said jw women literally "don't count" - a brilliant play on words.

  i guess i had never thought about it before, but it got me wondering about all the behind-the-scene work jw females do, but their invisibility in the public arena.

  I only remember one funeral when I was a JW.I'm sure there were many more. One stands out tho. It was a child..I believe he had lukemia.

  They held the funeral at a funeral parlor..open casket.

  They had the Memorial at the KH..just gave a talk on "What is death?"

  I remember the parents too.She went into a depression..I went over there a few times and helped her but eventually got caught up in my own things and they had a large family supporting them.. Later I heard they had quit coming to the meetings..and that they became "Worldly".

  Then all of a sudden they showed up at an assembly.I remember she had a fur coat on and a mini skirt..and a lot of makeup.

  After that they slowly started coming back and she started to get more conservative. But I heard later they left again..
  Gossip.. was they blamed "Jehovah" for the child's death..(No blood)..and they just couldn't forgive him. I think the Grandparents and siblings quit going too.

  I wonder how many deaths the JW's are responsible for with their man made teachings?
